A small taste of our projects
Barn Conversions, Burn Bridge, Harrogate.
We converted two large agricultural buildings into modern residential accommodation as part of a heritage site with a collection of derelict buildings. The finished project provided two individual homes with Dale side views and retained many of the original features of the old brew house and malt kiln that had been part of the site for a number of centuries.

Farmhouse Renovation, Killinghall, Harrogate.
Our client had purchased a substantial piece of land which had a mid-twentieth-century farmhouse and wanted to update the house and adjacent garage buildings to provide a large family home with an office, gym and wine cellar, as well as landscape the surrounding land to provide a peaceful haven close to Harrogate.

Bespoke New-build Lakeside Family Home, South Oxfordshire
Our client had successfully found and purchased a plot of land overlooking a gravel extraction lake in the South Oxfordshire countryside. The property had an existing small single-storey shed building which had been used for several years as accommodation, and so we were able to gain planning permission to build a substantial dwelling on the lakeside with an outstanding view of the Oxfordshire countryside. The nature of the ground, being an old gravel pit quarry, presented many complications for construction, but we managed to engineer a solution with the help of our professional partners and build their "forever home"

Modern Rear Extension, Knaresborough, Harrogate.
Our client wanted to update and modernise a 1970s chalet-style house on a beautiful plot with south-facing views over the Nidd Valley in Knaresborough. They were open to a progressive design, and we agreed upon a multi-faceted roof design with glass to the majority of the southern aspect, using large overhangs to prevent overheating in the summertime.

Bespoke New Build Home in Harrogate
Our client had secured an infill plot on a fashionable road in the south of Harrogate, just off Leeds Road. Their brief was to have a substantial 4-bedroom house taking style from modern West Coast American architecture. We produced a contemporary multi-floored design which is spread over 5 half-floors, including a basement level, all connected in the centre of the house with an open well staircase that is positioned under a roof light window at ceiling level and an internal tree planted at the basement level that grows up through all 5 floor levels. The rear facade of the dwelling is glass with balconies at all levels to provide sun shading in the summer.
